Hello,

This will be a two part post so they will be smaller since I have a lot of books to get in July.

I hope your summer is going well so far. I've had a busy one so far as I have been working a lot and taking online classes at the same time though this week will be my last week so I am excited. June has been kind of a slow month for me as I have not read as many books as I had originally planned to read though I did finish my biggest read of the month so i am thrilled about that. July is going to be a busy month though as I have more books to get than I possibly know what to do with but I'm hoping to catch up on a few challenges that i am working on in Goodreads.

This will be a two-part post as I have a huge TBR for July and want to put them in one post so this one will focus on my June wrap-up and the books that I read this month.

June Wrap-up: Total books Read: 8

1. The Shining (#1) by Stephen King - I picked this one up since i was looking for a good horror novel and I was honestly slightly dissapointed by it. There was some horror but I didn't really get scared by it that much. i may try another novel by Stephen King though I' not sure yet (3.5 stars).

2. Warcross (#1) by Marie Lu - This one took me a while to get into as it started out a little slow but I did end up liking the story a lot. I loved learning about the different code and hacking and the game was also interesting as well (4 stars).

3. A storm of swords (#3) by George R.R. Martin - This one took me forever to read but I finally finished it this month and it was really good. I'm looking forward to picking up a Feast for Crows though it may be a while as i have a bunch of books that I need to read this summer before I can get back into the series again (4 stars).

4. Captain blood by Rafael Sabatini - I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this one. I'm glad that i picked it up though and it was interesting (4 stars).

.5. Night star (#5) by Alyson Noel - This is my second least favorite book of all of the books that I read this month but I am glad that I read it has it did help with some challenges on Goodreads that i have been working on (3 stars).

6. The Library of fates by Aditi Khorana - I was pleasantly surprised by this one as it was a standalone that was set in a Fantasy world. I loved the characters and descriptions of the places was really good as well. There were some things that I would have been more interested in learning, but overall it was a really good read (4 stars).

7. Radio Silence by Alice Oseman - I actually had to DNF this book as I couldn't finish it. I thought it was interesting at first but I didn't really like the main character that much. I may try it again later though I"m not sure (2.5/5 stars).

8. American Panda by Gloria Chao - I picked this one up on a whim and ended up really enjoying it. This one is definitely one of my favorite books so far (4.5/5 stars).

So this is my June Wrap-up. I'll have part two up with my TBR for July soon!
