It's Monday! What are you Reading? is hosted by Kathryn at the Bookdate. This is where you can talk about what you have read, what you are currently reading, and what you are about to read.

Hello,

This week has been going pretty well so far. I've mostly been busy with work and classes but this week is my last full week of classes so hopefully things will calm down a little in July. I also have a big list of books to get from the library for July as well. I work today and tomorrow but I'm off on Wednesday so I'm hoping to catch up on a few projects that I have to finish over the next couple of days or so.

What I read last week:

The library of fates by Aditi Khorana:

I was pleasantly surprised by this one as it is a fantasy novel though it is a standalone. I wasn't sure about the main character at first but once the story got started I started to really like her. The story was very interesting though I would have learned more about the history of the country she was from and about the library of fates as well. Overall I enjoyed reading the story and would definitely recommend it (4 stars).

American Panda by Gloria Chao:

I finished this one late last night and thought it was pretty good. Mei was definitely my favorite character and I loved reading about her culture as well. I would definitely recommend this one and look forward to reading more from this author (5 stars).

Currently reading:

Furyborn (#1) by Claire Legrand:

I started this one just a few days ago and while I am not quite sure about it I am interested in seeing what happens next.

The Heartforger (#2) by Rin Chupeco:

I was so surprised by how much I enjoyed The bone witch that when I saw this was in my Overdrive account I decided to go ahead and get it. I've started reading it but had to stop due to school so I'm hoping that I will be able to get back into it this week.

Up Next:

So this is my list for this week. I'm hoping to finish some of these books though I probably won't be able to get to them until Friday but I'm hoping to make some more progress later this week hopefully.
